The Friendship Club

The Friendship Club was established to offer disadvantaged girls living in western Nevada County a youth development program with a year-round curriculum that engages them in experiential learning, teaches life skills and promotes positive friendships at the most vulnerable times of their day: after school, on weekends and during summer vacation. Each girl receives over 375 hours of mentoring each year.

    $5,000 - To fund a project assistant for its program that teaches disadvantaged adolescent girls in Nevada City important life skills, and empowers them to complete their educations and live responsible lives.
