Redwood City 2020

One of the core community issues identified by RC 2020 is health disparities among the community’s youth. One of a number of disparities that youth in our community face is access to the outdoors. Recognizing that being and playing outdoors is an essential component of healthy human development. RC2020 has incorporated YO-It’s Youth Outdoors! as a critical element of the collaborative’s community based approach to addressing health disparities. RC 2020’s community-based approach includes engaging a youth to identify solutions to connect more youth to the joy of spending time in the outdoors.
