The goal is to augment the regular day classes with articulated reading, writing, and math instruction, subject area tutorials, homework assistance, and high-interest enrichment activities like drama, music, art, dance, martial arts, and environmental science. The program now reaches over 2,600 at-risk students providing them three hours of additional instructional time five days a week.
