Founded in 1970 by concerned members of the Asian American community in response to escalated gang violence and crime in San Francisco’s Asian community and the lack of services to address these issues, CYC has served thousands of economically disadvantaged high-risk Asian youth and their families with a focus on age, culture, and language appropriate services.
