The Generation Green Youth Stewardship Program will select 16 diverse youth (15-18 years) from urban and rural areas to complete summer stewardship internships (320 hours), where they will work to improve public land (will work and visit forest lands every day), gain ownership, and will be exposed to natural resource careers. The program will create 16 young land stewards who will gain valuable work experience, environmental education, and mentors encouraging them to pursue higher education.
