Aim High

For the past 21 years, Aim High has been helping middle school students from low-income communities in the San Francisco Bay Area achieve their dreams by providing a tuition-free summer school in underserved neighborhoods.  Nearly 5,000 students have benefited from Aim High’s innovative enrichment program that offers academic and personal support at a time when students need it most. This is the Aim High Magic.

  • 2010 Impact Fund
    Aim High for High School

    $25,000 to support the Headlands Environmental Home program, which provides urban youth with a deep understanding of environmental stewardship and responsibility through experiencing the interconnectedness of native species and the impact of human activities in the Marin Headlands.

  • 2009 Impact Fund

    $30,000 towards the Headland Home project that teaches middle school students respect and responsibility for self, others and for our environment. Aim high is a unique program that combines experiential and self reflection to help students become stewards of their local environments.

  • 2007 Impact Fund
    Headlands Environmental Home Program

    $35,000 to support the Headlands Environmental Home Program (HEHP), a partnership between Aim High and the GGNRA, which provides urban middle school-age youth with hands-on experiences that foster environmental awareness, personal growth, interpersonal understanding, and ultimately a stewardship ethic to carry into all areas of life.

  • 2006 Midsize Fund

    $33,000 grant to provide urban middle school-age youth with hands-on experiences that foster environmental awareness, personal growth and interpersonal understanding and to facilitate their transition to high school.
