We would like to take a moment to thank all of our grantseekers for the hard work they put into getting their applications in on time. We recognize that submitting a grant proposal takes a lot of effort, and we are happy to see the strong interest in connecting youth to the outdoors.

In the 2010 Catalyst Fund Round 1, we received 34 grant proposals.

In the 2010 Impact Fund Round 1, we received 84 grant proposals.

If you submitted a grant proposal last week, you should have received an email acknowledgement from us. This is the only communication you will receive from us until the decision process is complete, unless we have a question about your application. From here on, staff and external advisors will review the applications and conduct due diligence on the proposals. The Catalyst Fund grant awards will be announced at the end of April, and the Impact Fund grant awards will be announced at the beginning of May. If there is a significant delay in our review, we will put up a notice on our website.

Upcoming grant rounds in 2010:
Catalyst and Impact Fund Round 2 grant applications will be due on June 11th.
Initiative Fund Letters of Inquiry will be due on May 21st (please consult our 2010 Initiative Fund RFP and talk to a Youth Investment Program staff member if you are interested in applying).
Infrastructure Fund applications will be due on August 13th.
